- Accommodation Management Hawthorn-Melbourne has dedicated staff who handle the homestay referral service. The staff also introduce students to other options such as student dormitories, hotels and shared apartments. This accommodation department also offers an airport pickup service to take you to your designated accommodation. SCOPE One of the greatest features of Hawthorn-Melbourne is its programs of sports, culture and outdoor activities, plus picnics and games. Known as SCOPE, this program is designed to let students get the maximum benefit during their stay. Through this program, students can enjoy a variety of free after-school club activities and outdoor activities in Melbourne, including weekend trips, and a 3-day Victoria camp is also arranged. Outdoor activities include horse riding, go-kart racing, surfing, winery tours and snow trips. Pathway Counselling Since Hawthorn-Melbourne specializes in preparation for Australian universities, TAFE and high schools, pathway counselling staff are available full-time for students considering further study in Australia. Every May and November, the counselling staff arrange for students to attend information days held by Victorian universities and TAFE. Student Health and Welfare Counselling A full-time nurse and welfare counsellor are always available for one-on-one counselling.
