Toowoomba, said to be the cheapest city to live in within Australia, is located about an hour and a half by car north of Brisbane and enjoys a mild climate all year round. Three programs are offered: the Intensive English Program (IEPR), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), and English Language Culture and Training Programs/Study Tours (ELCP). In the General English course, beginner classes focus on conversation, while advanced classes cover more sophisticated content such as composition. For those wishing to enter the university, there is also a preparatory course that builds the English ability and academic skills needed to keep up with university classes. To take this course, a TOEFL score of 500 or higher or an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher is required. The student population is not large, so you can study in a comfortable environment.
