About the School
BCIT offers two programs to continuously improve your English. Option 1: International Student Entry Program (ISEP) ㆍ ISEP teaches the four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). ㆍ ISEP is designed for international students who do not meet the English requirements for admission to BCIT and for students who want to upgrade the four language areas (speaking, listening, reading, and writing). ㆍ ISEP consists of 25 hours per week. Option 2: Professional English Language Development (PELD) ㆍ PELD is a program that focuses on two main language areas, reading and writing. ㆍ PELD is designed for immigrants who do not meet the English requirements for admission to BCIT and for international students who graduated from high school in an English-speaking country but want to further improve their writing. ㆍ PELD allows students to choose part-time classes according to their needs.
