About the School
Brock University is located 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, one of Canada's tourist attractions, and about 1 hour from Toronto. The ESL program has been offered since 1982. For students taking English training for the purpose of university admission, those who complete the IELP course, the ESL program offered by Brock University, through the final level can enter Brock University without a TOEFL score. The IELP program is a total of 14 weeks, with 25 hours of classes per week, designed for students aiming for university admission. It consists of 6 levels, and a certificate is awarded upon completion. Language students are assigned a computer and, in addition to using the language labs, receive the same benefits as regular-program students at the bank, cafeteria, bookstore and more. They can also take part in a variety of on-campus activities such as music classes, films and newsletters, and can use the gym to enjoy various sports such as swimming and tennis.
