About the School
* Sol Schools has been renamed OHC English. Since its founding in 1996, the school has graduated 8,000 students. The school's philosophy is to provide students with the best English programs in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Although we have grown in size, this philosophy has not changed. The school is located downtown, within walking distance of Wellesley subway station. It is close to the famous Eaton Centre shopping mall, and the CN Tower is 10 minutes away by subway. The building that houses the school, Blake Mansion, was built in 1872 and was used by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, and from 1985 until recently served as the Humewood Art Gallery. Today, this masterpiece of Victorian architecture is designated a heritage site by the Canadian government and is used by the school's students. It is a unique school with a yard and garden just outside the building for students to enjoy.
