About the School
Sheridan College is widely known for its excellent professional and vocational education in computer and art fields such as animation and graphic design. Its intensive English program is organized in 14-week terms from intermediate to advanced levels. Many students attend mainly for conditional admission, as they plan to go on to the college's regular programs. It uses a unique teaching method that guides each student to study according to their own level using language labs and computer systems. A distinctive Sheridan program is Summer Craft Studies, in which students can take pottery, woodworking, glass and textile craft classes alongside their English study. It is a great opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction from professors in their field, in Canada's best-equipped studios, during the summer break. The regular college is located in Oakville, one hour from Toronto, while ESL classes are held at the Davis Campus in Brampton (one of Toronto's satellite cities, 45 minutes away by car) and at Trafalgar in Oakville. The Davis Campus is a newly built facility that boasts spacious and comfortable surroundings.
