Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)

SAIT's English program provides international students with a safe and convenient learning environment and conveys Canadian culture, with a focus on improving each individual's conversation skills. With a swimming pool, dormitories and a recreation center, it offers a pleasant living environment, and a nearby train station makes transportation to downtown and other areas convenient. The General English course is a preparatory course especially for students who will go on to university, consisting of Levels 1-5, each 16 weeks long, with 25 hours of classes per week. Along with general English classes such as listening, speaking and reading, students can take high school mathematics and science, which are required subjects for entering regular programs, and receive credit for them. Adventure programs, which combine English study with travel to places such as the Canadian Rockies, and special programs for groups are also offered.
