About the School
Founded in 1903, Sprott Shaw College has a history of 113 years this year and is the most traditional and largest private school in British Columbia. More than 4,500 students are currently studying at its 13 campuses in BC, and fewer than 10% are international students taking the same classes as local students. By offering professional programs officially accredited by the BC provincial government, such as Early Childhood Education, Practical Nursing, International Trade, and Hotel Management, it provides many employment opportunities to local students as well as international students. In particular, international students can experience the work environment and corporate culture of Canadian companies through practical training and paid/unpaid internships, and a variety of programs are offered that help advance their careers if they work in Canada or Korea in the future.
