About the School
The ESL courses at the University of Toronto, regarded as one of the largest universities in Canada, are characterized by a wide variety of courses that let students choose the classes they want. Classes run Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, with an average of about 15 students per class, divided into 8 to 16 levels over 8 weeks. Each course ends with an assessment using the TOEIC test. In addition, programs are offered such as grammar lectures, an Academic program focused on university admission, Buz English, TOEFL, and programs for English teachers. Any adult wishing to study English may apply, and a level test using the TOEIC is given upon enrollment. For homestay, the school only provides information and does not make arrangements, and the dormitory is available only during school vacations.
