About the School

Atlas Language School began in Dublin, Ireland in 2003 and has since expanded its campuses to Malta and Liverpool in the UK, making it one of Europe's leading prestigious language schools. Far more than a place to simply learn English, it is renowned for a system that fully supports each student's academic goals and local cultural experience. Atlas is a school where students can learn English in a lively, enjoyable environment, and we are confident that you will receive a high standard of education and enjoy the many facets of Irish culture. The overall aim of Atlas is to put students' education and welfare first and to let them study in a dynamic and enjoyable way. We not only work to improve students' English skills, but also help them gain the confidence to speak English naturally. The school occupies the historic stand-alone 'Portobello House', close to the city centre, with beautiful views overlooking the Grand Canal. It has the largest and most well-organized system of its kind. [Distinctive Learning System] Two-teacher system: Two teachers share the morning lessons. One focuses on grammar and vocabulary, the other on conversation and pronunciation, which balances learning and exposes students to a variety of accents. Free electives: In the afternoon, practical classes such as pronunciation correction, speaking skills and job hunting (Job Club) are offered free of charge to help students improve. Individual tutorials: Regular one-to-one sessions with a teacher let you check your academic progress and receive personal feedback. Atlas offers a wide range of choices, from General English to specialized exam courses. [Student Support and Social Programme] Nationality mix management: No single nationality is allowed to exceed 15%, so the proportion of Korean students is very low (usually 5-10%). Own residences: The Dublin residences, especially the 'Atlas Residence (Rathmines)', are a 15-minute walk from the school and come with breakfast and dinner, an exceptional offer. Inside are a gym, a games room (table tennis, PlayStation), a cinema room and even a yoga studio, with facilities of an almost hotel-like standard. Lively activities: Every week the school organizes a variety of activities such as Pub Day, city tours and weekend trips, where students naturally use English and socialize. It is the best choice for those who want to improve quickly through thorough support and a variety of free classes rather than just attending lessons, and for those who want to mix with friends of many nationalities in an environment with few Koreans.
