About the School
Royal Business College was established in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1996. In its early days it was the Royal English College, a language school teaching English to non-English-speaking students from other countries. Our college soon built a reputation for Academic English and IELTS preparation classes, and that reputation led to the establishment of a second campus in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. Since 2003, Royal Business College has offered and operated the Diploma in Business and the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5), the New Zealand Diploma in Computing (Level 5/6), the Diploma in Entrepreneurship (Level 7), the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4/5), and the Bachelor of Business. Our mission exists for our students: to teach and guide them so that they can enjoy meaningful education in an international environment and a balanced future life. Student-centered education and education that aims for excellence are the keys that have led us to success, and this is a result reflected in the achievements of past and present students. The school charter has been approved by the Tertiary Education Commission, and a copy is kept at the reception desk. Royal Business College is accredited by NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) and complies with the Code of Practice for the pastoral care of international students. Both the Christchurch and Auckland campuses are located in the city center. Both campuses are close to bus terminals, shops, public libraries, restaurants, and cinemas. We offer programs for international and New Zealand students, covering business, computing, horticulture, tourism, and English courses.
