Whitireia Community Polytechnic

This school is the English center affiliated with Whitireia Community Polytechnic, located on the Auckland, Wellington, and Porirua campuses. Students can freely use the polytechnic's own facilities and are given many opportunities to build friendships with college students. As an institution attached to a college, it offers a systematic education program that can be expected to bring steady improvement in students' skills, and although it is a college-affiliated center, it insists on running small classes, so each student receives sufficient individual guidance. Three courses are offered: General English, University Pathway, and Study Tour, aiming respectively at effective communication, university entrance combined with IELTS exam preparation, and a variety of recreation and cultural experiences. Most students prefer homestay, which is inexpensive and includes three meals a day.
