About the School
APiELSA English Academy in Cebu, Philippines, was founded to provide non-English-speaking foreigners with an optimal English environment, offering diverse and varied English education so that they can communicate as freely as native speakers. It is true that typical English education systems focus on English for tests, so students do not receive proper training in practical English, meaning speaking and listening communication. Facilities
We provide detailed information before and after arrival, and offer counseling services attentive to each individual student on various matters, including visa consultation, local information on the school, dormitory facilities, transportation, tourist attractions and recreation, as well as academic guidance and study counseling. If you apply for airport pickup, an APiELSA staff member will meet you at the airport and safely take you to the dormitory. To receive the pickup service, you must inform the school of your arrival schedule at least one week before departure. On the first day of enrollment, students are informed of precautions for local life and rules to observe, and a timetable and class assignment are arranged according to the level determined by a written test and an interview. It is a time to ease your nerves with simple games and self-introductions with the teachers, and to take the first step toward conquering English. APiELSA's unique service is a free school shuttle bus that lets you easily reach famous shopping malls in Cebu City. (Mon/Wed/Fri 6 p.m.: Robinsons-Ayala-SM) After completing the program, there is a time to receive a certificate of completion as a result of your efforts, hear encouraging words from the director, and say goodbye to the teachers and friends you have grown close to. Local calls are unlimited and free of charge, and mobile phone rental is also available.
