About the School
Established in June 2005 as a Philippine educational corporation, Seattle Language Centre was created with the goal of providing premium English education that sets it apart from the Philippine language industry, which had remained at basic, conversation-focused courses. For premium education in the Philippines, Seattle Language Centre has paid great attention to the selection and training of its instructors, focusing not only on Oral and Written Communication Skills but also on the training of grammatical concepts that every instructor must have. As a result, our instructors can clearly explain grammatically not only whether a student's sentence is right or wrong, but also why it is wrong. In January 2007, Seattle Language Centre became the first comprehensive language school in the Philippines to be authorized as an ETS iBT TOEFL test center. It regularly gives its instructors the opportunity to take real TOEIC and TOEFL exams, so most instructors hold high scores, and we are currently working toward all instructors scoring 105 or higher on the TOEFL. With a systematic program of 11 levels in total, including English, TOEIC, and TOEFL programs from beginner to intermediate, a 4-week course for each level, and a level-up system requiring an average score of 80 or higher, students study with practical goals, from the basics to high scores. With Korean and Philippine staff living in the dormitory, CCTV cameras numbering over 20, and a 24-hour security guard system, Seattle Language Centre always does its best to maximize students' study effect through their safety, a pleasant learning environment, and thorough management.

- Since 2007, Seattle Language Centre in the Philippines has been authorized as the first comprehensive language school in the Philippines to be an iBT TOEFL test center, and has administered an average of 3 TOEFL tests per month. Each test taker is given a private room, so you can take the TOEFL in an optimal test environment without outside interference, and the tests have been run successfully without a single error from the first test until now. Students in the Seattle TOEFL program can conveniently take the test on their desired date in the same classroom where they study. For the iBT TOEFL, the answer sheet is sent online to ETS together with the test and scored, and the results are sent out in a batch, so the test is administered in the same way anywhere in the world, including Korea and the Philippines, and the results are recognized.
