TIMES-SLC (formerly Subic Language Center)

TIMES-SLC (formerly Subic Language Center) has been located since 2002 in Subic, the Philippines' best-secured area with the best-developed infrastructure. Subic is representative of the Philippines with its pleasant natural environment, a crime rate of 0% over the past 10 years, and its status as an international free port that plays a part in Southeast Asia's economic development. In 2002 it was certified as a language school designated by the Philippine Department of Tourism. In 2006 it jointly ran the Junior English Proficiency Program with National Teacher's College, which boasts the longest history and tradition in the Philippines, and as of 2010 it has been designated as the center operating the English Language and Cultural Enrichment Program with the University of the Philippines. It also conducts credit-recognized language training for domestic universities in Korea, including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. The American textbook classes for linked-program students and Situational English can be described as an educational characteristic that only SLC has among Philippine schools.
