Atlanta English Institute (AEI)

Since 1993, AEI has provided the finest service in ESL (English as a Second Language) and test preparation instruction, and is located in Atlanta, a vibrant city in the U.S. state of Georgia in the southeast, with an excellent quality of life. The institute is accredited by U.S. and international organizations and is authorized by the U.S. government to enroll non-immigrant students. We are also accredited by Educational Testing Service (ETS) as an iBT TOEFL test center. From the very beginning, our institute has given glory to God. These values remain at the heart of our business. What this means for you as a student is that it is our desire to be the best in everything we do: we want to provide the best instruction, the best resources, the best counseling and the best environment. AEI's students come from all over the world. Some hold master's or doctoral degrees, and some are currently in university or have just graduated. Some are high school students. Many are already working professionals in their home countries. In every case, they all hope to master English. Our instructors are highly qualified. Every instructor must hold a relevant bachelor's degree and have ESL teaching experience. More than half hold a master's degree or an ESL certificate. The institute is fully equipped with the latest computer software. We have a language/computer lab, a full library, and computers exclusively for students. AEI offers many programs and courses. Students from overseas generally enroll in the Intensive English Program, which consists of 7 levels, each an 8-week course. Other ESL programs and courses include Business English and the ESL Youth Program. After completing the Intensive English Program, many students continue to the master-level Collegiate and Professional English (CAPE) Program (English Leadership Development Program) or enroll in Test Preparation courses. AEI's test preparation courses include TOEFL, SAT, LSAT, GMAT and GRE. Our class size is limited to 9 students. Social opportunities include field trips, bowling gatherings and end-of-course pizza parties. For international students, Atlanta is the cultural and economic center of the Southeast. The area has many recreational, sports and cultural attractions. These include major sports clubs (e.g., baseball and soccer) as well as museums, theaters and parks. (Atlanta hosted the Summer Olympics in 1996.) Atlanta is a big city, yet it retains Southern charm and its small-town roots. If you decide to come to AEI, we will do our best so that you leave impressed by the education you received here. We also hope you will grow and be able to take on challenges to achieve everything you hope for. If you give us the chance, our concern is not only your education but your whole life. Our institute is accredited by two top-level accrediting bodies, but we are not satisfied with that. We aim for the best. We are a world-class institute. If you want to be the best, if you want to be inspired, join us.
