About the School
Cal Poly English Language Institute (CPELI) Cal Poly English Language Institute (CPELI) offers 22 hours of classes per week and helps students prepare for the TOEFL and successfully advance to university. In addition to about 10 hours per week of general English, students can choose and take other subjects, and can talk with American students for 8 hours per week. Each class has about 15 students, and there are 6 levels. It is a 10-week program, and its advantages include 25 computer labs with Internet access, high-quality classes, and access to all university facilities. The placement test consists of the Michigan English test and a writing test.
