Columbia West College offers a variety of interesting extracurricular activities every month. These activities strengthen friendship between instructors and students, help students learn about the culture of Los Angeles and the United States, and foster a sense of harmony between the community and the school. Extracurricular activities include bowling, visiting the beach, field trips, spending fun time together eating at cafes, ice skating, watching movies, visiting the Natural History Museum, seeing Olvera Street and the art district in downtown LA, Hollywood Boulevard, trying a different culture's food each month, and visiting Yosemite and San Francisco.
