About the School
CUNY Language Immersion Program (CLIP) is a program that gives newly admitted City University of New York students who received low scores in the reading and writing sections of the placement exam the opportunity to study English 25 hours per week before starting regular classes. Students study college-preparatory English divided into reading, writing, listening and speaking, and also learn effective study methods such as note-taking, research methods and test-taking strategies.
