Surroundings

San Diego calls itself the finest city in the world. The second-largest city in California, it is defined by its near-perfect climate and breathtaking scenery. In San Diego, sunny days are the norm, and picturesque beaches, gentle foothills, and palm-lined neighborhoods make it an even more enjoyable city. EF language school students spend much of their time mingling with locals on the miles of beaches that hug the San Diego coast. Away from the sand, they see exotic animals at the world-famous San Diego Zoo or have lunch at a La Jolla cafe with views of the sea. SeaWorld, where visitors can get close to killer whales, is also a popular tourist attraction in San Diego. Bordering Mexico, San Diego retains an extremely relaxed and multicultural American feel. Come to think of it, San Diego has every right to call itself the finest city in America.
