ELS/San Francisco North Bay is located on the campus of Dominican University of California (DUC) in the town of San Rafael, 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco and 18 km north of the Golden Gate Bridge. San Rafael is part of the San Francisco Bay Area, a safe area with beautiful scenery, and the DUC campus is within walking distance. In San Rafael and San Francisco you can enjoy many exciting outdoor sports such as hiking, mountain biking, golf, swimming and sailing. Excellent transportation connections make it easy to travel around the entire San Francisco Bay. You can choose an on-campus dormitory or off-campus student housing, and the dormitories offer high-speed internet access, including cable TV and telephone.
