Everett Community College

Everett Community College provides education to more than 15,000 students each year across various areas of Snohomish County, and most students and faculty carry out their studies at the main campus located in North Everett. Everett Community College is one of the 34 community and technical colleges managed by the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges. The college is governed by a five-member board of trustees appointed by the Governor of Washington. Everett Community College was founded in 1941, and its first students attended classes in a converted elementary school building. The main campus moved in 1958 to its current location in North Everett. The North Everett campus of Everett Community College is located at 2000 Tower Street in Everett, and occupies 46 acres (about 18.6 hectares) near the Legion Memorial Park Golf Course. The campus includes 15 classroom and laboratory buildings named after peaks in the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. In addition to the main campus, Everett Community College operates the Aviation Maintenance Technology program at Paine Field, a beauty school in Marysville, and several facilities in northern and eastern Snohomish County.
