Founded in 1980, LASC & ESLA have built on their long tradition to help many new generations learn English and American culture. With up-to-date facilities and lively programs, they enable more multiethnic, multicultural students from around the world to acquire English naturally in small classes. Students study ESL programs from beginner to advanced level to develop the overall communication skills needed for social life, and complete TOEFL preparation to gain, as international students, the English ability required academically for university and graduate school. The schools also boast a variety of other programs, including Situational English for everyday conversation, Topical English essential for advanced conversation, American Language & Culture, in which students learn practical American language and culture by watching movies and TV, Business English for practical business needs, and computer courses. By continually developing the curriculum with the latest knowledge and experience, the lively programs of LASC & ESLA help students adapt easily to personal life, society, and academic study. As a result, every year more and more students return to visit our school, even after graduating from university or entering the workforce, to express their gratitude for the help it gave them in the early days of their life in the U.S. and for a successful study-abroad experience.
