About the School
North Seattle College's IEP program provides English education opportunities for students whose native language is not English. The program's main purpose is to help English learners succeed in advanced learning environments. ㆍ Focus on improving English proficiency and academic skills for smooth adaptation to college classes ㆍ Promoting mutual understanding and multicultural awareness among students in IEP classes ㆍ Helping international students adapt to American culture and the education system. The IEP's teaching methods, services and practices comply with the standards of each college's Northwest Commission, the NAFSA educational code, and the Association of International Educators.
School Features
- 1) If you don't yet have your high school diploma, you can work toward both high school completion and a degree in a combined program. Once you've earned your degree, you'll be qualified to transfer to an American four-year college or university to complete your bachelor's degree. 2) If you're not quite ready for college-level courses in English, sharpern your skills in the Intensive English Program. 3) You may also choose career training through one of the College's certificate programs.
