Oklahoma State University

The English Language Institute (hereinafter ELI), a language school affiliated with Oklahoma State University in the state of Oklahoma, was founded in 1970. With its excellent methods of teaching language students and its rigorous educational policy, a large number of students from around the world enroll in the ELI every semester to improve their practical English and prepare for university admission. The ELI encourages students to actively participate in class and conversation. In addition to its intensive English program, it practices international exchange and English education in a wide range of areas, such as university preparation programs and cultural events, and provides university guidance counseling to students who wish to go on to university. Along with classroom lessons, it has created a learning environment where students can use English and acquire natural English through cultural activities, visits to famous places in Oklahoma, and various outdoor activities. ELI students can use all the facilities on campus, including the library, gymnasium and computer rooms. The ELI is a member institution of UCIEP (formerly the Consortium of University and College Intensive English Programs), an educational consortium made up only of language schools that meet certain standards.
