About the School
Rice University's Intensive English Program was established in 1978. The Intensive English Program offers terms of 6 or 7 weeks depending on the time of year, with a total of 6 levels. The program focuses on listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar, with particular emphasis on developing fluency and accuracy in speaking and writing.
