About the School
The English as a Second Language program, an affiliate of Stanford University, offers a general intensive English course in the summer term and a one-year program for students who have already been admitted to Stanford University's regular programs. As a university affiliate, classes focus more on grammar and writing than on conversation, and because the students have already been granted admission, the level of the classes is very high.
