Texas Christian University

Classes are small, with 6-12 students, and there are 6 terms a year, offering 20-30 hours of instruction per week. After class, supplementary sessions using computers are held on various topics such as American culture and writing methods, and conversation partners are provided so you can improve your speaking with American university students. Small, individualized classes let you receive intensive attention from teachers, and to maximize diversity, students study conversation, composition, listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, abbreviations and slang, dialogue skills, and pronunciation in classes divided by level. You will study with top-level teachers who hold master's and doctoral degrees, have years of teaching experience, have lived abroad extensively, and speak languages other than English. IEP students may use all of the university's facilities, and conditional admission to the university and auditing of university courses are possible.
