About the School
The Extension center, an affiliated institution of the International Education Programs (IEP) at UC Riverside, offers high-quality and wide-ranging educational opportunities, of the kind a university can provide, not only to regular university students but also to members of the general public, in support of lifelong learning and intellectual growth. Since it was established in 1975, the International Education Program has provided higher-level English education and professional education programs to more than 50,000 students from over 100 countries. It is one of the largest programs not only in the California state university system but in the entire United States. The IEP offers its students the best education and service all year round, with a unique program developed through years of experimentation and evaluation. IEP teachers are professional, experienced and friendly. Most of them have taught students overseas, so they understand other countries' cultures well and provide an environment where students can learn English quickly and comfortably.
