USC Language Academy offers an exceptional university education program through high-quality, year-round ESL (English as a Second Language) courses for those preparing for academic or professional careers. Through carefully designed academic programs, campus activities, and cultural and educational activities, USC Language Academy aims to help you improve your English quickly. USC Language Academy is a program affiliated with the University of Southern California, one of the most prestigious private universities in the United States. Students may freely use USC's outstanding libraries, computer labs, housing, dining, recreational and medical facilities. Our classes are structured in a balanced way that emphasizes everyday English while promoting the development of accurate linguistic knowledge. Fluent academic yet practical conversational English is developed through aptitude-based university-level courses focused on reading/writing and listening/speaking, while specific areas such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and TOEFL and GRE test preparation are taught through our elective courses and other curricula. Faculty: The Academy has experienced full-time ESL instructors who are specially trained in ESL teaching methods. Our full-time instructors hold master's or doctoral degrees in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), linguistics, or related fields. Accommodation: The Academy's accommodation supplement policy is running smoothly. In fall and spring, students live at Parkside International Residence College, an international community, where they make friends, experience culture, and share their cultural characteristics with American and USC international students - and all the while, you practice your English! In summer, students can also live in USC apartments and use all other university facilities. In addition, renting a private apartment near the USC campus is also possible.

The Academy has a full-time student services coordinator who plans at least one outdoor activity per week. Typical destinations include Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, TV studio tours, sporting events, the beach, museums, and L.A. tours.
