About the School
English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is an academic program designed to develop the basic English skills of students who wish to study in a community college or university in the USA. Working students can also benefit by improving language skills for their professional development. Wake Tech’s international students represent over 100 different countries. At any given time, approximately one thousand international students are studying in various degree programs. For more information on international students, visit international.waketech.edu. Reminder for advanced EFL students If you will be moving into a major in summer or fall 2010 please come to the EFL office to register for the math test and get a release from EFL. Doing this before registration begins will make summer and fall registration easier for you.
