Carraig Linguistic Service was founded in 1974 by Patrick McGrath and a group of European teachers who searched for an inviting place in Ireland where their students could learn English as a foreign language. Carraig was born in Cork. Since then thousands of French, Spanish, Italian and German students have passed through our schools, where endeavour is rewarded with sucess and oral and aural aspects of English are prioritised. Students enjoy a wonderful linguistic and cultural experience during their stay in Cork. Our teachers are qualified graduates, full time teachers who have an appropriate recognized TEFL qualification, with a wealth of experience and dedication. Our staff are very conscious of students' needs and put the students' well-being above all else.
