학교 소개
Our campus is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD (Central Business District). Our campus is located on Level 2, 5 and 7 of the Manning Building at 451 Pitt Street, Sydney. Close to public transport, the campus is within easy walking distance of libraries, World Square Shopping Centre, Chinatown, Paddy's Markets and local cinemas. Our campus offers recently renovated and refurbished classrooms with new furniture and carpets. The classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and projectors. Audiovisual equipment is also readily available for classroom use. Within the campus there is a student kitchen (with microwaves, kettle, cutlery, plates, vending machine etc.) and computers with internet access in the common areas. Why Study at Strathfield College? Strathfield College is situated in a modern campus, conveniently located in the centre of Sydney within walking distance of Central Station, Darling Harbour, Chinatown and Town Hall Station. We prepare you for future work and university opportunities. We provide students with the opportunity to participate in workplace focussed projects as part of their Business or Marketing course. We encourage students to experience learning outside the classroom and use excursions to achieve this. We don't limit our course intake to the beginning of each semester. You can begin an English course on a weekly basis and can enrol in a vocational course at the beginning of any course unit.

General English
General English (CRICOS Code: 073620A) General English is the best course to improve your overall communication skills. The course covers the 4 main learning skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Each level runs for 12 weeks and every 6 weeks there is a progress test. If your progress and test results indicate you are ready, you can move to the next level. Following each progress test, you will have a 1:1 tutorial with your teacher and receive a written report on your progress with advice for further improvements.
English for Academic Purposes
English for Academic Purposes Standard Program(CRICOS Code: 072314G) Successful completion of the Strath eld College EAP courses are recognised as satisfying the English language requirements for entry to several academic institutions in Sydney. We are pleased to announce our new English for Academic Purposes pathway to Southern Cross University Bachelor and Master Degrees. The new SCU package has a special promotion price for the next intake dates: 27th July and 30th November 2015. Our EAP courses have a 10 week duration and the programs are suitable for students who are planning to go on to university or a vocational course with high academic content. We understand that many students find the transition to an Australian university difficult so we work closely with our students to equip them with the skills to make the most of their opportunities.
IELTS Preparation Course
IELTS Preparation Course (CRICOS Code: 060530K) The Strathfield College IELTS Preparation course is a 20-hour per week intensive exam preparation course designed to provide the perfect combination of learning and IELTS test practice. The course focuses on familiarising students with the format and structure of the IELTS test while also helping them prepare for the test through daily IELTS testing for all fours skills—Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Mock tests simulating IELTS test conditions followed by one-one feedback ensures that students receive maximum IELTS test practice in a short amount of time. Students also have the option of purchasing an additional 100 hours of online IELTS self-study materials to supplement their in-class learning.
