BEC offers a 12-week course in the language and techniques of business, community and the environment to help non-English speakers access this strong and growing market for goods and services. The Canadian Rockies offer numerous opportunities to learn from and participate in businesses that embrace the LOHAS approach and this program includes a 25-hour practicum. * Tour Guide Training Program (Canadian Language Benchmarks Level 4+) This four-week program is designed for international and Canadian students who hope to work with English in the Tourism Industry. English classes will be held in the morning from 8:30-11:30 covering topics such as; tourism-related vocabulary, guiding language, confidence in public speaking as well as resume preparation. In the afternoon from 12:30-15:45 students will enjoy guide-training classes including field trips with professional guides.
