MacEwan's English Language Institute (MELI) offers a full range of courses and services to help bridge the communication gap of different cultures and to facilitate entry into post secondary programs. MELI offers full time and part time courses for Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, and international students wanting to improve their English skills, whether for general communication or academic study. A variey of special purpose language training is also offered, including the following: a) Intensive TOEFL Preparation (IBT) b) English for International Students c) English for Business d) English for Nursing e) English for the Workplace f) CAEL Preparation g) English for Health Care Workers h) Technical Writing for New Canadian Engineers
