Intensive General English : 집중영어과정 (주 30시간-40레슨) The General English Courses are designed for learners of all levels and have an emphasis on speaking, communication and a high level of learner participation. The goal is to improve your accuracy and fluency as you move up the levels from beginner to advanced plus. These courses will give you the skills you need to communicate effectively in English, and will provide a strong foundation of grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and spoken English. English for Academic Purposes : 학업영어과정 (주 24시간-32레슨) The course is designed to prepare students for entering a post-secondary institution. The primary focus is on academic reading and writing skills. The modules include: note-taking, sentence structure, paragraphs, research, essay format, report format, power point presentations, referencing, test taking, study skills and time management. Daily lessons include grammar and vocabulary building as well as the writing/reading skills. Students will be using a variety of authentic texts and writing samples at the appropriate level. Program Outline Focus on Writing: An intensive English language program that focuses on improving writing skills for academic purposes through assigned projects (presentations, articles, essays, reports, & exams). Writing Workshop: Includes vocabulary building and short writing assignments to improve overall writing skills.

TESL Teacher Training Certificate Program : TESL/TESOL(테솔) 영어교사 양성과정 Teach English in Canada or around the world! inlingua Victoria’s 120 hour TESL Certificate program is an intensive 4 week program consisting of a balanced curriculum of both theoretical and practical components of teaching English. There is a supervised teaching practicum that offers a hands on learning opportunity to complete your training. This course is for anyone who would like to pursue a career in Teaching English as a Second Language to non-native English speakers. This program is recognized by TESL Canada. Students who successfully complete this program and have a degree may apply for TESL Canada’s Professional Standard Level One certification. The TESL/ TESOL Certification Course includes 100 hours of intensive and comprehensive instruction in ESL methodologies, lesson planning, resources and job search skills. Course Schedule 8:30am ? 4:30pm (1) Classroom instruction Interactive lectures and activities outline the theory for each module. Students will be asked to prepare several peer-teaching sessions. (2) Practice teaching Under supervision of a mentor teacher, after an initial period of observation, students will be required to teach ESL classes. Students will progress gradually from observation through assisting the mentor teacher to teaching the ESL class for an extended period of time.
