KGC’s ESL program prepares students to communicate in written and oral English. Students experience will be enhanced through topic-based curriculum that focuses on Canadian culture and general interest topics. Students in KGC’s ESL program will: • Improve their English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills • Learn differences between students’ native culture and the English speaking culture • Be able to function in an English-speaking environment
Students in UFP will: • Develop English skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking. • Apply Math, Sciences, Business, Computing and Professional terminology. • Develop North American classroom skills such as critical thinking, teamwork and exam writing skills. The University Foundation Program helps prepare students for college and university studies. It is geared for international students who want to major in business, science, or technology at a Canadian college. Classes are designed around the needs and academic interests of the students. Through individual consultation and learning support, students can work on projects and tasks common in Canadian high schools and colleges. There are three main components to the program: 1) language training; 2) academic skills development; and 3) content-based classes on selected topics in business and science. Students develop language and academic skills and have the opportunity to apply their skills by attending a series of electives taught by guest lecturers and speakers with knowledge in selected topics. The UFP program is considered intensive. In addition to class work, students are expected to do two to four hours of homework each night.

KGC는 주택가에 위치하고 있으나 상업중심지인 브로드웨이로부터 2분의 1 블럭 거리에 위치해있습니다. 다운타운은 버스로 불과 몇분 거리에 있습니다. 평화로운 환경과 도시의 편리함을 모두 가지고 있습니다.
대화클럽: 캐나다인과 자유롭게 대화를 나눔. 학생들이 그들의 영어실력을 날마다 가늠해 볼 수 있도록 매일 대화클럽을 이용할 수 있습니다. 학생들이 원하는 어떤 주제든지 편하게 토론하는것을 목표로 합니다. 일주일에 한번 교사들은 학생들과 자유로운 환경에서 영어를 연습할 수 있는 야외활동 시간을 마련합니다. 저녁이나 주말에 이루어집니다. ?롤러블레이딩, 보트타기, 배구, 스키, 현장탐사, 박물관견학, 관광 등
