Core 영어 + 와 FOC 커뮤니케이션 중심 과정 Core 영어와 FOC 커뮤니케이션 중심 과정은 일반 영어를 배우려는 학생들을 위한 퀘스트의 기초 프로그램입니다. [ Core English + ] 본 과정은 영어 학습에 대한 포괄적인 의사 소통 방식을 제공합니다. 목표는 말하기, 듣기, 읽기 및 쓰기의 네 가지 필수 언어 기술을 개발하여 영어 실력을 빠르게 향상시키는 것입니다. [ The + ] 오전 수업(1~4교시)은 언어 구조와 구술 커뮤니케이션의 핵심 영어 실력 개발에 중점을 둡니다. 오후 수업(5~7교시)은 매주 원하는 프로그램으로 변경이 가능한 '선택 워크샵' 또는 특별한 관심 분야에 집중할 수있는 '포커스 과정' (상위 레벨 학생만 해당)을 제공합니다. [ FOC 커뮤니케이션 중심 ] 자신감을 키우고 단어 능력을 높이고 발음을 향상시킵니다. 이 코스는 사회적 환경에서부터 토론 및 발표에 이르기까지 다양한 상황에서 효과적으로 커뮤니케이션 할 수 있도록 도와줍니다. FOC는 오전의 오럴 커뮤니케이션 기간(2, 3, 4교시)과 FOC 학생들을 위해 특별히 고안된 강연 및 토론과 같은 오후 워크샵을 결합합니다. 매주 워크숍 주제를 바꿀 수 있으므로 개별 요구 사항에 맞게 학업을 보다 잘 맞춰서 할 수 있습니다. 수업 외에도 한 달에 한 번 무료 채팅 친구 세션(주당 3~5시간)이 포함됩니다. 캐나다 채팅 버디 (Canadian Chat Buddy)는 교실 밖에서 대화 기술을 연습하고 다양한 사회 활동을 통해 캐나다 생활에 친숙해질 수 있도록 도와줍니다. Exam Power Preparation Power Preparation for TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge and TOEIC* preparation are highly structured, comprehensive courses of study with a proven record of success. Participants will be challenged to work hard, learn efficiently and study strategically to ensure exam success. The morning periods (periods 1 to 4) concentrate on developing common core reading, critical writing and note taking skills. In the afternoons (periods 5 to 7), the emphasis is on speaking, listening and writing skills for exam questions and real time test drills to ensure your readiness for test day. In addition to covering all skill areas, the courses include assignments and computer practice on a regular basis. Non-test review classes on grammar, vocabulary and writing will ensure that you have a solid foundation for the exam. Skills and Strategies for each of the sections of the test are provided with clearly defined steps to improve performance on the test. Complete Tests, in both paper and computer format for the TOEFL, will allow you the experience of taking actual exam tests with all of the sections together in one complete test. * TOEIC students have the option of taking Core English or Focus on Communication in the morning periods. Academic Pathways Programs The Quest Academic Pathway Program (APP) is your gateway to the higher education you need for the career you want. The benefits of the APP are: Full or conditional admission to a College or University degree program. Develop your English language skills to a new level of excellence in preparation for academic success in your field of study. Earn a recognized college or university degree - 1, 2, 3 or 4 years in duration depending on program. Degrees offered include Bachelors, Diplomas and Post- Graduate Certificates. Have the opportunity to integrate your academic learning with paid practipathway brochurecal work experience through coop placements while studying. Work for up to 3 years in Canada after graduating in your field of study. Up to 90% successful employment rate with full job placement assistance. Program Requirements and Details Entry: High- intermediate level of English - Quest level 7. Entry test required. Duration: 12 to 16 weeks Academic Pathway Program. Exit: Successful completion of the Academic Pathway Exit Test. The APP will challenge students to develop their English skills for success in academia. Each day of the program consists of six sections: Section 1: Academic Reading Section 2: Research and Discussion with Short Report Writing Section 3: Academic Essay Writing Section 4: MLA Citation Style Section 5: Presentations Section 6: Academic Lecture Series (Optional) The program will enable students to: Develop effective learning strategies and research skills for application to academic writing. Build an academic lexicon and develop strong presentation skills. Read effectively for main idea identification, scanning for specifics and linking and organizing idea. Upon successful completion of the program and related requirements, students may then enter into a wide variety of programs at partnering institutions. The table below indicates the minimum language proficiency level required to enter a college or university degree program. The majority of programs require APP exit test score of 74 to 87. Higher scores may be required for some programs. Students who meet these criteria will generally not be required to take any other entrance tests.app schedule Scholarships: Quest Pathway program graduates are eligible for entrance scholarships, up to $3000.00, with partnering institutions. All students are guaranteed a $500.00 scholarship payable two week after having started their studies at a partner institution. In addition, students who achieve high academic standards at Quest and who maintain that status in their first semester at a partner college or university are eligible to receive an additional $500 Quest scholarship. The 360 Pathway Program The 360 Pathway Program combines the Academic Pathway Program with the internship placement service of our Career Pathway Program. You can combine the Academic Pathway Program (APP) with the placement services of our Career Pathway Program (CPP) to get a paid or unpaid internship placement either before starting your degree studies or after completing your degree studies. 360 Pathway before starting advanced studies: College and university degree programs accept students only in September and January of each year. Students that need to wait to enter a program after completing their APP course can enroll in our 360 Pathway Program. The program will enable students to further enhance their English skills and gain valuable work experience in an English speaking work environment while waiting to enter a partner institution's program. 360 Pathway after completing advanced studies: After completing their studies at a partnering institution students are eligible to work in Canada for up to 3 years. The 360 Pathway Program can assist eligible students in finding a work placement where they can effectively put their skills to work and get their career started right after graduation. TESOL Programs - English Language Teaching (ELT) Quest offers two types of English teacher training for TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) programs: TESOL International and TESOL Professional ? TESOL International (4 weeks plus practicum): This program is intended for high level non-native English students who have not yet mastered English and are interested in teaching in their home country or wish to attain a certain expertise in English. ? TESOL Professional (4 weeks plus practicum): This program is intended for those seeking a professional career as a teacher of English. It meets the requirements for accreditation and is suitable for teaching in many private language schools worldwide.

Private Classes Focused English for individuals and groups Private classes are an ideal and highly effective way for individual students and private groups to rapidly learn English and focus on areas that are of particular interest to them. Students can choose to focus on: improving their general English skills, prepare for an exam or focus on specialized area, such as: Law, Engineering, Finance, Medicine, Aviation, Tourism, ... Private executive groups may also take advantage of specialized services: Fax, copy, laptop and cell phone rental, internet, wireless access, gym facilities and more.
