겔프대학의 영어 연수 과정은 다른 대학들과 다르게 매월 진행됩니다. 학생들은 영어회화와 발표기술 습득에 초점을 맞추어 작문, 듣기, 말하기, 문법수업을 주당 25시간씩 수강합니다. 이 모든 과정은 5단계로 나뉘어져 있으며, 4단계까지 마친 학생들은 4학점의 수업을 수강할 수 있습니다. 4학점의 수업에서 최소한 평균 70% 이상의 성적을 받은 학생은 겔프대학의 인문학부에 진학할 수 있는 자격을 얻게됩니다. 5단계까지 마친 학생들은 최종 학력을 기준으로 학사 과정 또는 석사 과정에 입학할 수 있게됩니다. 국제학생들은 겔프 대학이 정규 대학 학생들에게 제공하는 모든 시설을 자유롭개 이용할 수 있습니다.

English Language Certificate Program The English Language Certificate Program is an intensive academic English program that prepares you for academic success in university. You will learn both the academic English skills you need and the academic skills to make you successful in university studies. You will learn the concepts of critical thinking, group work and academic integrity as well as the skills of research, essay writing and oral presentation skills. - Proven Academic Success A four year study shows that graduates of the Advanced level of the English Language Certificate Program earn marks of B or higher in undergraduate and graduate degree programs at the University of Guelph. Graduates of the English Language Certificate Program are very successful students. Admission to University Degree Programs: • Guaranteed Admission to Bachelor of Commerce Program • Guaranteed Admission to Bachelor of Arts Program • Conditional Admission to Masters and Doctoral degree programs Completion of Advanced Level of English Language Certificate Program meets the English proficiency requirements of the University of Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Guelph-Humber.
