Explore Manitoba The Explore Program brings French speaking students from Quebec to the University of Manitoba for five weeks in the spring and summer for an English immersion experience. Build Community The Adult English as an Additional Language(EAL) program gives immigrants and refugees the English language skills needed to live and work in Manitoba.

Intensive English Program The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a full-time program offering eight levels of English language learning from beginner to advanced. Students write an on-line placement test to determine their level before starting the program. IEP sessions run continuously throughout the year with start dates at the beginning of each month. Each session takes two months to complete and consists of 208 hours of instruction. Students are evaluated on one mid-term and one final exam along with 4 out of 5 in-class assignments/evaluations per two-month session. At the end of every session, students will receive either a certificate (2-month program) or letter of accomplishment (one-month program) and a grade letter.
