English Immersion Program - International International students who are between the ages of 16 and 19 years have the option to participate in our Summer English Immersion Program for four weeks or the full five weeks. Most students choose to participate in our program for the full five weeks. Respective dates are as follows:
ㆍ Five week program (July 10- August 12, 2011)
ㆍ Four week program (July 10- August 5, 2011) The Program fee for the International Program is $2,375, and $2,990 for the four week and five week programs, respectively. The program fee must be received by UPEI no later than June 30, 2011. Please be advised that the program fee covers the cost of tuition, room and board, and most activities. However, the Program fee does not include a $200 Registration Fee, $20 Sports Centre Fee (subject to change), the cost of some optional activities offered throughout the program, and a workshop. Both the Registration Fee and Sports Centre Fee are non-refundable after June 3, 2011, and must be received with your application.

| English for Academic Purpose (EAP) |
The goal of EAP is to prepare students to succeed in university; therefore, courses use authentic university material and assignments. EAP requires commitment and hard work in order to move from social communication to an academic level of reading, writing listening and speaking. The focus is different from other English classes.
