위니펙시 도심의 중심부에 자리 잡고 있는 위니펙 대학의 어학연수센타는 대학 캠퍼스에서 가까운 쇼핑 및 교통의 요지에 따로 자리잡고 있습니다. 어학연수생에게도 학부과정 학생들과 같이 ID카드를 발급하고 있어, 도서관, 실험실, 체육관 등의 시설을 이용하는데 어려움이 없을 뿐 아니라 스포츠, 음악, 학교 연감 제작 등 다양한 동아리 활동에 참가할 수 있는 기회 또한 제공합니다. 유학생들을 위해 회화연습 상대를 찾아 주므로, 캐나다 학생과 교실 밖에서 편안하게 대화를 나누면서 캐나다에 대한 이해를 높이고 영어표현도 배울 수 있습니다. 총 14주 코스의 어학연수과정은 주 5일, 하루 5시간 수업으로 기초부터 고급까지 5단계로 구성되어 있습니다. 정규수업이 끝난 오후에는 비즈니스영어, TOEFL, 발음 수업 등을 선택하여 들을 수 있으므로 학생들은 각자에게 부족한 부분을 보충할 수 있습니다. 14주 정규과정 이외에도 여름방학을 이용한 5주 단기연수 프로그램이 마련되어 있습니다. 홈스테이는 학교측에서 알선해주고 있으며 그 외의 숙소는 자신이 직접 구해야 합니다

1. 초급-상급까지 5단계 레벨. 오전은 기본영어, 오후는 선택과목 2. 주25시간수업 (월-금요일, 1일 5시간수업) 3. 오전수업은 Grammar, Reading, Writing 4. 오후 선택과목들 Business English, Pronunciation, TOEFL Preparation 5. 주말에는 Winnipeg 대학행사에 참여해서 영어실력을 실습 가능 * Description Our 14 week English Language Program is offered three times a year with sessions starting in January, May and September. The Program offers five levels of instruction, from Beginner to Advanced. Morning classes focus on developing oral fluency as well as grammar, reading and writing. In the afternoon, students choose from a variety of seminars such as Business English, Pronunciation, and TOEFL Preparation (Seminars may vary from term to term). Classes are held from Monday to Friday, with a total of 25 hours of study and cultural activities each week. Weekly visits to popular Winnipeg events and attractions give students many opportunities to practice their language skills. * Program Options Students who want additional practice have access to the Language Lab. Students may also choose to participate in our Language Partner Program which matches students with English-speaking partners. The Program provides students with the chance to practice English in casual conversation outside the classroom. * Admission Requirements International Students applying for these programs must meet the following requirements: be 18 years or older on the first day of the program; meet Canadian visa requirements. Those who wish to visit the U.S. are advised to obtain a U.S. visitor's visa before leaving their home country.
