University College Cork

The 20 hour intensive course is offered at two levels: one at intermediate and the other at either a higher or lower level depending on demand. You will have 20 hours of English classes every week as well as unlimited access to our Language Learning Laboratory while studying with us. The Resource staff can assist you in self-access work on your pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills based on advice from your teachers. While here, students will get an opportunity to sit one of the international examinations in the English language, e.g. the Cambridge ESOL First Certificate, Advanced Certificate or an IELTS examination. You will also receive a certificate from the Language Centre, University College Cork, upon successful completion of the course.
