Malta University Language School offices are based on the University of Malta Campus at the Guze Cassar Pullicino Building. The University was first established in 1592. It is a University which is recognised all over the world for its great reputation. At our school students who choose to attend our language courses receive a Malta University Language School Certificate. General English

Prior to starting any course at Malta University Language School, students need to take a Placement Test. This enables the academic staff to assess the student's level and to determine which class to place them in. At the end of the course, students have the option of taking an achievement test and receiving a Certificate of Achievement or else they can opt to receive a Certificate of Attendance only. This course has been validated by the Programme Validation Committee and approved by the Senate of the University of Malta. This course is available all year round, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 12:30. Each week consists of 15 hours of lessons. The levels are: - Beginners - Elementary - Pre-Intermediate - Intermediate - Upper Intermediate - Advanced The minimum number of students in a class is 8. All materials are included. Long-stay rates are available on request.

IELTS Exam Preparation

This is a course aimed at prospective students who wish to obtain entry to English speaking universities, including the University of Malta. This course has been validated by the Programme Validation Committee and approved by the Senate of the University of Malta. The course is a stepping-stone for overseas students whose first language is not English and who must provide evidence of their level of proficiency in English to enrol either on the Foundation Course or at undergraduate level at the University of Malta, or who need to sit for any one of the following examinations: IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge. This course is offered through out the year, both in the mornings and in the evenings. Morning lessons are held from 9:00 ? 12:30 (duration - 9 weeks) Evening lessons are held from 17:00 ? 19:00 (duration - 14 weeks)
