Aspiring Language Institute is a private, exclusive English language school which was established in January 1989 in Christchurch. In 2011, Aspiring Language Institute opened in Auckland, the biggest city in New Zealand. Our Institute offers a high level of personal attention to students who are treated as individuals and encouraged to develop their English skills to the best of their ability. We are a small school with no more than 60 students at any time. Our small classes allow for faster progress learning English and help you to make friends easily. Our Vision: We are here to teach English, but this is not our only aim. People coming from different countries bridge the culture gap, promote intercultural understanding and help to make the world a better place. Our Mission Statement: We regard the learning of a foreign language as an important part of a person’s economic and social development. We dedicate ourselves to maintaining the highest teaching standards by: • Limiting the class size so that each student receives individual attention • Being selective in our admissions on the basis of the age, maturity and motivation of students • Ensuring a balanced cultural mix of studentsTailoring the lessons to suit the specific needs of the students • Using the most current communicative teaching approach • Using a wide variety of materials and techniques • Employing teachers who are well qualified and experienced professionals • Setting high, yet attainable, standards of excellence for both staff and students • Maintaining a happy and productive learning environment, and ensuring that learning is an enjoyable and meaningful experience • Continually endeavouring to improve all aspects of the school environment
