Enrolment taken: Every Monday except holiday Level available: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced FULL TIME (Morning class & afternoon class, 23 hours per week) General English with Conversation General English with Reading & Writing PART TIME (Morning class or afternoon class) Morning class Study time: Monday ~ Friday, 15 hours per week Class time: 9:00 AM ~ 12:00 PM Covers listening, speaking, reading and writing with an emphasis on grammar, vocabulary and structural English. There is a lot of communication practice. Afternoon class ( 2 options) Study time: Monday ~ Thursday, 8 hours per week Class time: 1:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM General Conversation Develops listening and speaking skills with an emphasis on communicative English Reading & Writing Skills Entry level: Pre-Intermediate or above Emphasis on reading and writing skills

Enrolments taken: Every Monday except holidays Age: At least 16 years old Length of course: Minimum 8 weeks Study time: Full-Time - 20 hours/week Course times: morning class and afternoon class Morning Class + Taken as part of General English course + Focusing on improving spoken English, listening skills, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary + Study time: 9:00AM ~ 12:00PM Afternoon Class + Focusing on general conversation and English for living and working in New Zealand + Study time: 12:00PM ~ 1:00PM

TESOL? >Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages >ECN’s course is an eight week course approved by NZQA >This course is designed to enable teachers and trainee teachers to: >Acquire essential subject knowledge and familiarity with principals of effective communicative language skills >Acquire a range of practical English teaching skills >Apply their teaching in an authentic teaching context TKT? >The Cambridge University Teachers Knowledge Test >The trainees for ECN’s TESOL will also sit TKT Exam which will given them an internationally recognized certificate. TKT gives teachers a strong foundation in the core areas of teaching knowledge needed in the English teaching classroom. It is ideal all teachers, whatever their background and teaching experience, and is also suitable for people who would like to teach English but do not yet have a teaching position. Minimum Entry requirement: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 520(Paper), TOEIC 700 or through ECN’s internal entry test.
