ㆍ Located just 700 metres from one of New Zealand's best beaches ㆍ Established in 1990 ㆍ There are around 55 students in the Spring/Summer season (September - March) ㆍ and 35 students in the Autumn/Winter season (April - August) ㆍ There is an average of 7 students per class, and a maximum of 12 students per class ㆍ You can study at any level from elementary to advanced ㆍ Students come from all over the world, we had students from 21 different countries in 2011 Our Teachers Our teachers are fully qualified and experienced in modern teaching methods. Their lessons are very practical. Our small class size means that students improve their speaking and communication skills quickly. Each student will receive personal attention for any special needs. Accreditation Mount Maunganui Language Centre is officially recognised by the government as a Private Institution. We are full members of ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND and the MMLC has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education.
