We know choosing where you’re going to study is a pretty big decision. So why study at NZIE? Well, we do things a little differently. We’re a boutique school focusing on quality, not quantity. We keep our class sizes small so we can give you the individual support and attention that big lecture theatre style learning can’t offer. This level of support is especially important if you’re a first-time student or looking at retraining after some time in the workforce. But it’s not all warm fuzzies. You’ll need to work hard and push yourself, but we’ll be behind you all the way. We want you to graduate ready to walk into interviews confident you have the right skills for the job. So we’re all about practical, hands-on learning. Our teachers aren’t just academics, they’ve all worked in the industry they specialise in. We’ve worked hard to build an extensive employer network to give you access to a range of real life work experiences to help you build on your training during your time with us. And our support doesn’t even end when you graduate. We have our very own in-house recruitment agency called ‘Think Recruit’ dedicated to placing our graduates in internships and jobs.

Silo Park, located in Auckland City by the Waterfront is Auckland’s home of outdoor cinema, music and markets. During summer are the Silo Sessions, showcasing a variety of local and international music acts, Weekend trips

Just 5 minutes from campus is the beautiful Takapuna Beach. Also right near campus is the Takapuna market, offering a wide variety of products including fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants, crafts, furniture, specialty foods, clothing and antiques. The markets have a fun, lively atmosphere and are a great way to spend a Sunday morning.
