2011 is a very special year for The Anglo European School of English. We are celebrating 40 years of welcoming students to study English in Bournemouth! Our success has been achieved through the highest standards of language teaching in our courses and also by ensuring that we deliver quality in all the services we offer. This includes the school facilities, our accommodation and welfare service and our social and cultural programme. Our teachers and other staff are well-qualified and experienced in meeting the needs of students from around the world. We have comfortable, well-equipped premises ideally located between Bournemouth town centre, the beach and the residential areas where our host families live. Our British Council accreditation means that our students can have confidence that they can expect a high level of service. We also hold a licence from the UK Border Agency which allows us to issue the necessary documents for students who need visas to come to the UK for an English language course. Course Description This course is designed to improve your general language level for use in everyday situations. Students may want to improve their English for: ■further studies ■business ■personal interest The course uses a key text book as well as a range of additional materials and will provide you with the essential structures and vocabulary to succeed. Course Outcomes ■progression to exam classes such as IELTS, FCE, and CAE ■improvement in career prospects by achieving a level of English needed in international business ■Flexible course dates mean you can progress to your chosen English level at a pace that suits you. Key Course Facts ■Elementary to Advanced Levels ■Minimum 2 weeks ■20 lessons (Standard) or 30 lessons (Intensive) or 40 lessons (Super Intensive) per week ■Maximum class size of 15 students ■Start date any Monday ■Fees include all learning materials, personal study programme, tutorials and wi fi internet access and attendance certificate ■Students aged 16 and above. Exam preparation Cambridge exams IELTS BULATS Business English Course Description These courses are for students who have already reached an intermediate to advanced level of English and who now want to take an internationally recognized exam programme. The courses use both key text books and supplementary materials and are highly intensive language programmes focusing on the major skills that are required to pass the exams. The courses concentrate on the techniques and skills needed to ensure you gain the highest grade possible. Extended Language Study Programme Course Description This course allows students to benefit from the advantages of a longer period of study as well as the opportunity to take the internationally recognized FCE or IELTS exam. Key Course Facts ■minimum 20 weeks ■either 20 or 30 lessons per week ■Maximum class size 15 students ■Start date any Monday ■Students aged 16 and over ■Discounted tuition fees Fees include: ■All learning materials ■Personal study programme ■Entry to either Cambridge FCE or IELTS exam ■Airport transfer on arrival at either London Heathrow or London Gatwick airports
