영국이나 미국의 대학으로 진학하고자 하는 학생들이나 특정 전문분야에 종사하는 사람들에게 유용한 과정으로 수업시간은 일반 영어과정(주26/23시간)과 같습니다.

IELTS Preparation classes are designed for students specifically training for the IELTS examination used by British and international universities to measure a student's ability to study or train in English in Further or Higher Education. Our course includes 7.5 hours of focused IELTS practice incorporated into the full-time English timetable. The classes allow students to look at and work on each of the four skills for the exam (reading, writing, listening and speaking), as well as grammar and vocabulary workshop sessions with individual feedback and timed exam practice every week.

English Plus courses available from the start of each term. You will study up to 17 hours per week of English and join vocational modules in a selected subject. You need at least an intermediate level of English to join the vocational modules. Please tell us on the application form which vocational area you are interested in joining. The objective of the course is to give international students the opportunity to learn in a class with British students. This course gives you the experience of British Further and Higher Education, and the chance to meet and work with home students. There is no exam attached to the vocational part of the course. Students will take an English Language exam. EU students can study English Plus for up to 20 hours of provision a week, including 14 hours of classroom contact and 6 hours individual work in the Self-Access Centre. You can pay for additional classes in 3-hour packages per week if you would like to study more classroom hours. You can also use the Self-Access Centre for extra individual self study, including up to 6 hours per week with staff support.
